PRODE 2026 pick'em rules
Transparent and simple point system for the 2026 World Cup pick'em: 3 for exact score, 1 for correct result, 0 if you missed. Extra bonus for champion, finalist and group winners. No tricks, no fine print.
Point system
Each 2026 World Cup match gives you up to 3 points based on how close you got to the actual score.
"Correct result" = you got it right whether home win, draw or away win, even if you missed the exact score. Example: if you predicted USA 2 - Mexico 0 and it ended 3-1, you score 1 point (you got that USA wins).
Champion and finalist bonuses
Before the tournament starts, you pick who you think will be champion and who'll be finalist (runner-up). You earn:
These picks lock at the start of the first match of the tournament (June 11, 2026). After that you can't change them.
Group bonuses
For each of the 12 groups (A to L), if you get the 1st and 2nd place correctly, you score points automatically derived from your match-by-match predictions (no need to enter separately).
Maximum group bonus: 12 × (3 + 2) = 60 points. Plus champion bonus (10) and finalist (5) = 75 points in bonuses. Plus 104 matches × 3 = 312 max points from exact scores. Theoretical ceiling: 387 points.
Deadlines
- Each match prediction → until kickoff of that match. Once it starts, it's locked.
- Champion and finalist → until the start of the first match of the tournament (June 11, 2026 at 16:00 ET).
- 1st and 2nd of each group → no need to enter them: derived automatically from your 6 group-stage predictions per group.
How ranking is sorted
Ranking is sorted by total points. If there's a tie:
- 1) Number of exact scores — whoever got more exact scores ranks higher.
- 2) Number of correct results — tiebreaker by general correct picks.
- 3) Registration order — whoever signed up first ranks higher if everything above is equal.
Private groups
You can create private groups (work, family, friends) and share the link via WhatsApp or anywhere. Each group has its own ranking but your predictions are unique — you enter them once and they compete across every group you're in plus the global ranking.
No limit on groups per user. As the group creator you can delete it (which removes all members from the group, not their predictions). As a member you can leave anytime.
What happens if I don't submit a prediction?
No points for that match. The match shows up in your fixture marked "No prediction" and you can keep submitting the rest normally. No extra penalty: zero points for that match, end of story.
If you submit only one of the two score numbers (e.g., home: 2, away: empty) and the match starts, that prediction doesn't count as submitted — the system shows a visual warning before kickoff so you don't leave it half-entered.
